KARACHI: At least one person was killed and another injured on Tuesday when unknown men opened fire at a seminary office in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
Indiscriminate firing killed Mufti Kamran and injured Mufti Ghulam, SP Gulshan Dr Fahd said.
The injured has been shifted to a private hospital.
The incident disrupted the otherwise peaceful Tuesday morning in Karachi where business opened as usual and children went to school.

Rangers raided MQM offices across Karachi overnight and sealed MQM sector offices in Lyari, Ranchor Line, Burns Road and PIB Colony. Society, Mehmoodabad, Defense, Gulbahar and Nazimabad sector offices were also locked down.
Party offices were also sealed in New Karachi, Gulshan Iqbal, Surjani Town, Gulistan e Jauhar, Azizabad, Liaquatabad and Malir.
It was further said that more than 50 activists and office-bearers were nabbed during the raids.
Farooq Sattar, Amir Liaquat and Khwaja Izharul Haq were detained by Rangers for interrogation and later released.
