ISLAMABAD: After Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan People?s Party (PPP) has also decided to file reference in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other members of Sharif family on Monday.

According to details on Saturday, the PPP has prepared the reference against PM Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, MNA Hamza Shahbaz, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Captain (retd) Safdar, son-in-law of the prime minister.

The reference will be filed in the ECP under articles 62, 63 by former governor Punjab Latif Khosa.

PPP leader Barrister Latif Khosa said all five mentioned do not meet the criteria for qualification for public office set under Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
