LONDON: Detective investigating the murder of a 62-year-old man in Hyde Park charged a man for the killing on Friday night. The accused will be presented before magistrated in Wimbledon today (Saturday).Â
According to the Metropolitan Police, Hani Khalaf a 21-year-old man with no permanent residence was detained on Thursday and was formally charged for the killing of Jairo Medina who was discovered dead in Hyde Park's 'Speakers Corner' on the 12th of August this year.Â
While a post-mortem was conducted, a cause of death could not be ascertained however police added that clear signs of assault were present.Â
