ISLAMABAD: Top military and civilian leadership of the country held a second meeting on Thursday to discuss the security situation following two attacks in Quetta this week.
During the meeting consensus was reached over making National Counter Terrorism Authority functional and blocking foreign funds which sponsor terrorism on Pakistan soil. The National Action Plan was also discussed, sources told Geo News.
At a meeting held on Wednesday at the Prime Minister House which the army chief, DG ISI, finance and interior ministers attended it was decided that the federal government will provide all resources to the provinces for implementation of National Action Plan.
All intelligence agencies were asked to communicate with provincial governments for implementation of NAP.
