KARACHI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday visited Karachi and on the occasion said that official reference against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain will be sent to the British government.
The federal interior minister was talking to media personnel at the Governor House after a meeting with Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad.
He said that Karachi cannot be held hostage over one person?s phone call.
?We all are on the same page regarding Karachi?s law and order,? Nisar said.
The federal interior minister said that the security of the media houses should be improved. He was referring to the recent unrest in the city in which MQM protesters tried to wreak havoc in Karachi following an inflammatory speech by the MQM chief inciting party workers to attack media houses.
