SIALKOT: A child was left to fend for himself in the streets of Sialkot by his parents.
Parents of the 12-year-old child reportedly abandoned him in Sialkot?s Pul Aik area. Residents of Pul Aik found the child and brought him to Neka Pura police station.
The parents are said to be residents of Shaheenabad in Gujranwala.
According to the child, his parents had told him they would be back in sometime but never returned.
Meanwhile, according to Tula police in Gujranwala, parents of the child had reported the child to be missing on Tuesday. However, the police found doors of the parents? residence locked after they went to inform the parents that the child had been found.
The child would be handed over to the Child Protection Bureau after legal proceedings.
